x402Pulse Pro

Unlimited calls to all 34 endpoints, plus an MCP server so Claude Code, Cursor and Claude Desktop can use everything directly. One payment of $39 USDC covers 30 days.

  • Unlimited, fair use: up to 120 calls a minute and 20,000 a day.
  • One key: send it as a header, no wallet needed for each call.
  • MCP server: every endpoint becomes a tool your AI assistant picks by itself.
  • No subscription: pay once, renew when you want. Renewals add to any time you have left.

Paid once in USDC on Base from your browser wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet…). No subscription is created; renew whenever you like.

Your wallet may show a security warning, because x402 payments are a signed USDC transfer. Check that the amount is 39,000,000 (that is, 39 USDC) and the recipient is 0x5e90…6e74.

Buy it from an agent

The pass is an ordinary x402 endpoint, so agents can buy and renew it themselves. Note the price is above many clients' default per-payment cap, so raise the cap for this call.

# Free price check (402)
curl -i "https://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/pro/pass"

# Buy with any x402 client, then use the key:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer xp_live_…" "https://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/oil/prices"

# Renew (adds 30 days to the time left; the new key replaces the old one once used)
GET https://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/pro/pass with header Authorization: Bearer xp_live_…

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to outside tools and data. Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and many other AI tools support it.

On its own, an AI assistant only knows what it learned in training. Connect the x402Pulse MCP server and every x402Pulse endpoint becomes a tool it can use by itself: ask "which drugs are in shortage right now?" or "how do U.S. crude inventories compare with normal?" and the assistant picks the right tool, calls it and explains the answer. No code to write.

With Pro, those tool calls are covered by your pass, so there's no payment per call, within the fair-use limits above.

Using your pass, step by step

Everything you need after buying. Your key looks like xp_live_ followed by 32 letters and numbers.

  1. Save your key

    It's shown only once. Store it in a password manager, then load it into your terminal or app as an environment variable instead of writing it into code:

    export X402PULSE_KEY=xp_live_YOUR_KEY
  2. Call any endpoint

    Send the key in an Authorization header. Every endpoint works the same way; no payment, no wallet.

    curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $X402PULSE_KEY" "https://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/oil/inventories"

    JavaScript or TypeScript:

    const res = await fetch("https://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/health/drug-shortages", {
      headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.X402PULSE_KEY}` },
    });
    const { data } = await res.json();

    Python:

    import os, requests

    res = requests.get(
        "https://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/attention/spikes",
        headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['X402PULSE_KEY']}"},
    )
    data = res.json()["data"]
  3. Connect your AI assistant (MCP)

    Claude Code: one command adds all 34 tools.

    claude mcp add --transport http x402pulse https://www.x402pulse.dev/api/mcp \
      --header "Authorization: Bearer $X402PULSE_KEY"

    Cursor: add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project):

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "x402pulse": {
          "url": "https://www.x402pulse.dev/api/mcp",
          "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer xp_live_YOUR_KEY" }
        }
      }
    }

    Claude Desktop and other MCP clients that start local servers: use the mcp-remote bridge in the client's MCP configuration file (Node.js required):

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "x402pulse": {
          "command": "npx",
          "args": ["mcp-remote", "https://www.x402pulse.dev/api/mcp", "--header", "Authorization:${AUTH}"],
          "env": { "AUTH": "Bearer xp_live_YOUR_KEY" }
        }
      }
    }

    Restart the assistant, then ask in plain language, for example "Using x402pulse, which drugs are in shortage right now?"

  4. Check your pass

    Free, any time: your expiry date, days left and today's usage.

    curl -H "Authorization: Bearer $X402PULSE_KEY" "https://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/pro/status"
  5. Renew or replace your key

    Renew before or after it expires: paste your key into the box at the top of this page and pay again. You get a new key with 30 days added to any time left; the old key stops working once you use the new one.

    Key exposed? Replace it for free with the same expiry. The old key stops working at once:

    curl -X POST -H "Authorization: Bearer $X402PULSE_KEY" "https://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/pro/rotate"
  6. If something goes wrong

    • 401: the key is mistyped, expired or replaced. Check it with the status command, then renew or use your newest key.
    • 429: you passed the fair-use limit (120 a minute or 20,000 a day). Wait and try again.
    • 400: a parameter is missing or invalid; the message says which. See each endpoint's parameters on its product page.
    • 402 instead of data: the Authorization header didn't arrive, so the endpoint asked for payment. Check the header spelling.

Terms

Pass valid 30 days from purchase (renewals add 30 days to any remaining time). Fair use: 120 calls a minute and 20,000 a day. One person or one organization per key; don't share or resell it. Payments are final and non-refundable. Data, not financial, medical or trading advice.

Your key is shown once, right after payment. We store only a fingerprint of it, so it can't be recovered: save it somewhere safe, like a password manager.

Prefer to pay per call? Nothing changes: every endpoint still works without a key through x402. See the developer guide.
